Bahamas

Permanent Residents of the United States and Canada do not require a visa to travel to The Bahamas. However, please note the following:

• Permanent Residents of the United States are required to have an Alien Registration Card (Green Card) with a valid passport from the country of origin.
• Permanent Residents of Canada are required to have proof of Landed Immigrant Status (Immigration 1000 form).
• Persons who wish to attend school in The Bahamas must apply to the Bahamas Department of Immigration.

Non US Visa Requirements:

• Valid Passport Required.
  • Passport must be signed
  • Over 6 months remaining validity
  • One blank Visa page available
• 1 form: Visa Form
• 1 Photo: Photograph Requirements
• Service Order Form

If Traveling on Tourism:

• Proof of Travel:

  Proof of Travel – (photocopy of roundtrip ticket, flight itinerary, or letter from tour agency/operator)

If Traveling on Business:

• Proof of legal status for Non US Citizens:

  Proof of legal status

  • Original Green Card
  • Valid US Visa (ie: H1B, F1, J1, E)
  • Advance Parole Document
  • Valid DS2019 (formerly IAP66)
  • Valid I-94
  • Valid I-20 (signed within 3 months by designated school official)
  • Photocopy of Green Card
