Evidence of Medical Insurance valid for duration of stay in Bulgaria may be requested at port of entry.

Non US Visa Requirements:

• Valid Passport Required.
  • Passport must be signed
  • Over 6 months remaining validity
  • One blank Visa page available
• 1 form: Visa Form
• 1 Photo: Photograph Requirements
• Service Order Form

If Traveling on Tourism:

• Proof of Travel:

  Photocopy of roundtrip ticket, flight itinerary, or letter from tour agency/operator.

Invitation from a Bulgarian host (on standard form, provided by local authorities).

• Medical Insurance (applies to both tourism and business). $5000

  Upon entering Bulgaria, the visitor must have travel/medical insurance covering emergency medical expenses, repatriation, transportation of mortal remains, funeral, hospitalization. Please provide a copy of the insurance policy or a letter from the insurance stating policy number, company name, duration of validity and at least $5000 coverage

If Traveling on Business:

• Letter of invitation from a host company in Bulgaria (on a standard form, provided by the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce).
• Business Letter Required: Business Letter Format

• Proof of legal status for Non US Citizens:

  • Photocopy of Green Card
  • Valid US Visa (ie: H1B, F1, J1, E)
  • Valid DS2019 (formerly IAP66)
