Congo DR/ Zaire

Visa Requirements:

• Valid Passport Required.
  • Passport must be signed
  • Over 6 months remaining validity
  • One blank Visa page available
• 1 form: Visa Form
• 1 Photo: Photograph Requirements
• Service Order Form

If Traveling on Tourism:

• Proof of Travel:

  Proof of Travel – (photocopy of roundtrip ticket, flight itinerary, or letter from tour agency/operator)

• -Letter from a Tourist Agency or private host in the Dec Rep of Congo.
  This letter must be notarized at City Hall in the DRC and either legalized by   DRC Ministry of Foreign Affairs or submitted with a formal declaration of   liability “engagement de prise en charge” issued by the Direction Generale  des Migrations (DGM). OR
  -Notarized Letter of Intent from the applicant stating the purpose of the trip,  sites to be visited and duration of the trip and “engagement de prise en  charge” issued by DGM.
• Yellow Fever Vaccination

If Traveling on Business:

• Invitation Letter from host or sponsor’s organization(on letterhead).
   It should state the applicant’s name as well as the name, address and  telephone for a contact person at the overseas company. This letter must be  notarized at City Hall in the DRC and legalized by the DRC Ministry of Foreign  Affairs and submitted with a formal declaration of liability “engagement de prise en charge” issued by the Direction Generales des Migrations (DGM).
• Business Letter Required: Business Letter Format
  – Yellow Fever Vaccination.

• Proof of legal status for Non US Citizens:

  Proof of legal status

  • Photocopy of Green Card
  • Valid US Visa (ie: H1B, F1, J1, E)
  • Valid DS2019 (formerly IAP66)

An additional $25 application fee collected by the embassy is added to each entry category fee.
