Visa Requirements:

• Valid Passport Required.
  • Passport must be signed
  • Over 6 months remaining validity
  • One blank Visa page available

• 1 form: COVA Visa Form,

If Traveling on Tourism:

• Proof of Travel:

  Photocopy of flight itinerary

• Photocopy of the roundtrip airline ticket and hotel reservations OR

• An Invitation Letter

  *The Invitation letter (stamped with a circular seal) issued by a relevant entity or from an individual in China must state the following:
  A) Information of the applicant (full name, gender, date of birth, etc.)
  B) Information of the planned visit (arrival and departure dates, places(s) to be visited, etc..
  C) Information on the inviting entity or individual (name, contact telephone number, address, official stamp, signature of the legal representative of the inviting individual ).

Proof of Residence – Copy of Driver’s License

If Traveling on Business:

• Documents on the commercial activity issued by a trade partner in China, or trade fair invitation or other invitation letters issued by relevant entity or individual.
  *Generally, the invitation letter (stamped with circular seal) may be submitted as a fax, copy or printout. However, if necessary, the consular officer will ask the applicant to submit the original invitation letter, provide supporting or supplementary documents or schedule an interview.
• Business Letter Required: Business Letter Format
  (Required if the letter of invitation from the sponsor does not state   financial responsibility for the traveler.)
• Proof of Residence – Copy of Driver’s License

• Proof of legal status for Non US Citizens:

  Proof of legal status

  • Photocopy of Green Card
  • Valid US Work Visa (ie: H1B, E)
  • Advance Parole Document
  • Valid DS2019 (formerly IAP66)
  • Valid I-94
